The Title
Big Fantastic Heaven is so named because of the Wham! album titles: Fantastic, Make it Big, and Music From the Edge of Heaven. Fantastic Big Heaven would've been more chronologically correct, but I thought this sounded better.There was an album known as The Final released in other countries, which was basically a greatest hits with most tracks from Music From the Edge of Heaven added on. I figured it was covered with the Heaven part, plus working in Final would've been awkward. ;)
Header Image/Layout
The header features a relatively common photo of Wham!, but I love it anyway (there's a reason it's used so much - it's a great shot). The colors in the layout/header are a result of using the Music From the Edge of Heaven album cover as a gradient overlay (several times with different settings and in different sizings to achieve the "boxes" or "frames" you see in the header). I then went in with the "color picker" in Photoshop Elements to grab colors from the header to use in the rest of the design.
Lyrics in the Header
The Wham! lyrics appearing in the header are generated with the Random Quote JavaScript from CodeLifter.com. I found it through Google when I had decided featuring randomized lyrics here would be nice, but didn't know how to make that happen. The code is apparently from 2004, but as you can see, it still works. :)There are 20 different bits of Wham! lyrics in my code, but I believe you can plug as many things as you wish into it. It would be good for displaying little bits of trivia, too. I'll probably eventually use it for that purpose on one of my sites, as well.
